Gary A. Rogeness

Gary Rogeness serves as the Senior Director of Unmanned Systems Business Development at Mission Technologies, a division of HII, since March 2024. Additionally, Gary Rogeness is a member of the Board of Directors for the Navy Mutual Aid Association. Prior to their current roles, Gary Rogeness worked as a Senior Consultant for Ventus Solutions, supporting DARPA as a Senior Science and Engineering Technical Advisor. A distinguished military career includes positions such as Director of Plans, Strategy and Engagement for the US Navy and Senior Defense Official at the US Embassy in Norway. Gary Rogeness has held various leadership positions within the US Navy, including Commanding Officer of a nuclear-powered submarine and Deputy Director for Battlespace Awareness. Educational credentials encompass a Master's degree in Education from Iowa State University and certification from multiple military education programs.
