Melea McCreary

Melea McCreary has over a decade of experience in broadcast production, primarily with NBCUniversal Media, LLC, where roles include TODAY Show Producer, with oversight of both live and tape segments, leading to multiple Emmy nominations and two wins. Additional roles at NBC include TODAY Show 1A Producer, managing news launches and writing cross-talks, as well as field production and research positions. Prior to NBCUniversal, Melea produced the BEA Festival of Media Arts awards show at the University of Oklahoma and gained experience as a PR/Office intern at the Oklahoma Film and Music Office, an Executive Producer and Social Media Manager for a student-run music show, and a Sports News Desk Intern at KFOR. Melea holds a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcasting from the University of Oklahoma and a prior Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management from the University of Central Florida.
