Elena Gupta

Elena Gupta, MSEE, MBA, currently serves as the Regional Center Director and General Business Counselor at NC SBTDC since December 2017. Elena is also the founder of RGEES, LLC, established in June 2009, which specializes in manufacturing PCM-based Cold Chain refrigerants and thermal shippers for the pharmaceutical, healthcare, and vaccine industries, showcasing expertise in leadership, business development, and international distribution networks. Previously, Elena worked as a Business Development Manager at Gateway Central Asia from January 2000 to October 2005, focusing on procurement and sales of industrial health and safety products, along with project procurement and product certification in Kazakhstan. Elena holds an MBA in Business Administration, Management and Operations from Western Carolina University (2015-2017), a Master's Degree in Marketing Management from the National Technical University "Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute" (1994-1996), and a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the same institution (1989-1995).
