Rémi Lebret

Rémi Lebret is a Research Scientist at EPFL (École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne) since July 2016, specializing in multilingual and multimodal learning, particularly in the realm of large language models (LLMs) and vision language models (VLMs). Concurrently, Rémi serves as an AI Consultant at Privately Sàrl, focusing on the development of AI-based tools aimed at improving children's well-being and safety online. Prior experience includes roles as a Research Assistant at Idiap Research Institute, a Research Intern at Facebook, and a Research Engineer at CNRS, where Rémi worked on various deep learning and statistical projects. Rémi holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering from EPFL and has degrees in Computer Software Engineering and Statistics from Polytech Lille, as well as a DUT in Statistics and Computer Science from Université René Descartes (Paris V).
