Annelise Cohon

Annelise Cohon, MA, currently serves as a Senior Policy/Program Specialist in Leadership Development at the National Education Association (NEA) since May 2019, facilitating the growth of activist leadership within the organization. Prior to this role, Annelise was a Program Manager at the NEA Foundation from August 2016 to May 2019 and a Senior Program Coordinator at NEA Healthy Futures from February 2014 to July 2016, managing significant initiatives to improve educational outcomes in high-need schools. Annelise has also held various roles in humanitarian and educational projects, including as a Program Coordinator at the National Education Association Health Information Network and participation in the Education Policy Fellowship Program. Annelise's academic credentials include a Master of Arts in International Training and Education from American University and a recent Certificate in Infant & Early Childhood Mental Health Family Leadership from Georgetown University, along with a Bachelor's degree from Scripps College.
