Jorge Alvarez

Jorge Alvarez has a diverse work experience in the field of electrical engineering. Jorge is currently working as a Staff Electrical Engineer at NearShore Technology since 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Marelli as a Hardware Responsible, where they supervised a team of engineers and coordinated with other departments. Jorge also had experience as an Electronics Advance Development Engineer and Electronic Design Engineer at Methode Electronics. Jorge has also worked as a Project purchasing engineer at OSRAM and as a Projects Leader at Cygnus, where they managed and supported the design and development of industrial systems. Additionally, they served as a Principal Electrical Design Engineer at Hill-Rom and an Electronics Engineer at Motorola. Their earliest work experience was as a Hardware Engineer at Thomson SPS Lab.

Jorge Alvarez completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Tecnológico de Monterrey. Jorge started their education journey in 1993 and successfully finished in 2005.
