Jill Van

Jill was born and raised in Hawaii but spent her adult years in the Pacific Northwest. After attending college at Eastern Washington University to become an Occupational Therapist, she moved to Portland, OR — where she provided rehabilitation services at a major hospital and developed a deep empathy for her patients. Her passion for enhancing user experiences and proactive problem-solving motivated her career shift from providing human-centered patient experiences to designing human-centered digital experiences. She and her husband also own side business, designing and creating vinyl decals.
