Fred Hirsch

Fred R. Hirsch is an accomplished academic and healthcare leader with extensive experience in medicine and pathology. Currently serving as a Professor of Medicine and Pathology at the University of Colorado since 2000, Fred also holds the positions of Professor and Executive Director of the Thoracic Center at the Tisch Cancer Institute, Mount Sinai, NY, since November 2018. Additionally, Fred is the Executive Director and Professor at the Tisch Cancer Institute and Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, NY. Since October 2013, Fred has been the CEO of the International Association for the Study of Lung Cancer, and previously served as a Staff Physician and Associate Professor at Rigshospitalet from 1977 to 2000.
