Marthin Greyling

Marthin Greyling possesses extensive experience in the financial sector, currently serving as Principal at Nedbank Private Equity since 2003, where responsibilities include providing expansion and buy-out capital along with mezzanine funding to medium-sized businesses in South Africa and select sub-Saharan countries. Prior to this role, Marthin held the position of Vice President in Corporate Equities at Nedcor Investment Bank from January 2001 to December 2002, focusing on private equity fund and principal investments. Marthin also gained significant experience at Industrial Development Corporation of SA, serving as Head of Workout and Restructuring from September 1998 to December 2000, and previously as Manager and Transactor in Financial Investigations from January 1993 to August 1998, managing due diligence investigations. Beginning a career at Ernst & Young in the early 1990s, Marthin holds a B.Com (Hons) in Accountancy and a B.Com in Accountancy, both from the University of Johannesburg, and completed secondary education at Standerton High.
