Vishal Maharaj

Vishal Maharaj is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in the banking and finance sector. Currently serving as the Divisional Executive for Beyond Banking at Nedbank since September 2015, Vishal has also held significant roles such as Executive: Digital and Digital Channels Executive at African Bank, as well as CIO at Imperial Bank. Prior experience includes serving as Senior IT Solution Delivery Manager for Channels at Standard Bank Group. Vishal holds a BSc in Engineering (Chemical) and a Bachelor of Engineering from the University of KwaZulu-Natal, complemented by an MBL in Business Administration from the University of South Africa. Currently, Vishal is advancing leadership skills through the Executive Development Programme at Wharton Executive Education.
