Karin Schipper

Karin Schipper is an accomplished professional in the fields of education and visual arts, currently serving as Teamleider Conceptontwikkeling at Nederlands Openluchtmuseum since September 2022, while also working as a visual artist since June 2003. Previously, Karin held various educational roles, including Hoofd educatie at Museum Jan Cunen from April 2013 to August 2022, where a range of projects for different educational levels were developed. In addition, Karin contributed as an extern member of the Lectoraat Kunst- en Cultuureducatie at ArtEZ hogeschool voor de kunsten from January 2019 to July 2022, collaborating on Art-Based Learning initiatives. Karin has experience as an educative project curator at Witte de With, Center for Contemporary Art, and also held teaching positions at RSG Lingecollege. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Fine Arts with a specialization in sculpture from ArtEZ University of the Arts, complemented by a recent certificate in Coachend Leidinggeven.
