Josefien Koet

Josefien Koet is currently serving as a Toezichthouder at Nederlandse Zorgautoriteit (NZa) since January 2024. Previously, Josefien completed a research internship at Karl-Franzens-Universität Graz in 2023 and worked as a Student Assistant in Epidemiology and Applied Biostatistics at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam from 2022 to 2023. Other experiences include a role as Medisch informatiemanager at Ministerie van Defensie in 2022, Freelance Content Manager at New Skool Media from 2021 to 2022, and Administrative Worker for the Vaccination Programme at GGD Kennemerland in 2021. Josefien also contributed as a Bemonsteraar at GGD Amsterdam in 2020-2021, worked in Thuiszorg at Emile Thuiszorg from 2018 to 2019, and was a Begeleider at L'Arche en France between 2016 and 2017. Educationally, Josefien holds a Master of Science in Prevention and Public Health from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and a Bachelor of Science in Gezondheidswetenschappen from the same institution. Additional studies include a Propedeuse in Verpleegkunde at HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht, and minors in French language and culture, as well as Philosophy and Sport Psychology from University of Aberdeen.
