The NEEDS Center is looking for a Part-Time Grant Writer!
In this role, you will lead the research, writing, and submission of grant proposals and assists the Fundraising Committee on planning & implementation of fundraising events in accordance with the NEEDS Center’s policies and procedures.
This is a HYBRID position with minimal time in office. The role pays $30-$35/hr, based on experience.
20-30 hrs per week.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in creative writing or related field.
2+ years grant writing experience preferred.
Proficient with measuring and reaching income goals.
Proficient with MS Office Word and Excel.
Proficient knowledge of fundraising information sources.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Excellent organizational skills.
The NEEDS Center is a non-profit organization that specializes in providing services and support to individuals with developmental disabilities, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). There is a particular emphasis on providing services to individuals with interfering challenging behavior and/or dual diagnosis. The NEEDS Center’s philosophy is rooted in the tenets of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), and Positive Behavior Support (PSB). The services and supports provided by the NEEDS Center draw on the best of both disciplines in order to assist individuals to become as independent as they can be.
