Nandkishor Shelke

Nandkishor Shelke is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in rural development and agribusiness, currently serving as a Senior Business Development Executive at NCDEX e Markets Ltd. since July 2022. Prior roles include District Executive at Village Social Transformation Foundation, focusing on transforming villages in Maharashtra impacted by natural calamities, and District Manager for the SMART Project, aimed at enhancing agribusiness and rural livelihoods through World Bank-supported initiatives. Nandkishor also contributed to drought alleviation efforts as Project Manager and District Manager for the 'Sujalam Sufalam' campaign. Early career highlights include monitoring and evaluation work with the Maharashtra Agricultural Competitiveness Project and managerial roles at FarmGuru and Green Plus Chemicals. Nandkishor holds a BSc in Agriculture from Marathwada Agricultural University, a PGDM in Rural and Agribusiness Management from Welingkar Institute of Management, and is currently pursuing an MA in Rural Development from Indira Gandhi National Open University.
