Jacob Weaver

Jacob Weaver, PhD, is a Scientist II at Neochromosome, Inc. since March 2022, where responsibilities include the development of combinatorial and defined variant protein libraries at scale and involvement in pooled and high-throughput cloning efforts for DNA construct production. Previously, Jacob served as a Scientist on the DNA Foundry team, focusing on high-throughput synthesis for plasmids used in genomic engineering. Earlier experience includes a Postdoctoral Research Fellowship and Graduate Studies at NYU Langone Health, researching transcription-coupled nucleotide repair in E. coli, and a Research Technician position at the University of Rochester Medical Center, investigating the molecular pathogenesis of Vibrio cholerae. Jacob holds a PhD in Molecular Biophysics from New York University and a BS in Biochemistry from the University of Rochester.
