Stephen Kanovsky

Mr. Kanovsky has over 35 years of experience in the global life sciences and biotechnology industries. He is currently General Counsel, Commercial of GE Healthcare, a business unit of General Electric that provides medical technologies and solutions to the global healthcare industry. He was previously General Counsel for GE Healthcare’s Life Sciences business and its Global Innovations group. He joined GE Healthcare after various in-house general counsel and compliance officer roles in the pharmaceutical industry. Prior to in-house pharma roles, he had a civil litigation practice with Drinker Biddle LLP. Prior to that, he worked at Merck in basic research, regulatory affairs, and project management. Mr. Kanovsky received his J.D. degree from the Temple University Beasley School of Law. He has B.A. degrees in chemistry and biophysics from the University of Pennsylvania. He has an M.S. degree in pharmacology from the Temple University School of Pharmacy. He also has an MBA degree (Pharmaceutical Marketing) from the Saint Joseph’s Haub School of Business, where he was also an Adjunct Professor from 2005–2014.
