Bertha Oketch

Bertha Oketch is a research coordinator at Neopenda. Bertha has worked as a consultant for Marie Stopes Kenya and as a study coordinator and senior qualitative researcher for Kenya Medical Research Institute (KEMRI).

Bertha has experience in conducting social and behavioral research studies, designing data collection tools, managing IRB correspondences, and training and supervising research staff. Bertha is skilled in programing data collection tools using CSPro software and facilitating human centered design workshops.

Bertha has a passion for conducting research that will improve the lives of people in their community. Bertha is committed to disseminating findings from their research to all stakeholders through conferences and peer reviewed journals.

Bertha Oketch has a Bachelor of Science in Population & Reproductive Health from Kenyatta University. Bertha also has a Post Graduate Diploma in Project Planning and Management from the Kenya Institute of Management. In addition, they have two certificates; one in Conducting Research Responsibly in Global Health from the University of Washington, and another in Economic Evaluation in Global Health from the University of Washington.
