Tony Armstrong

Tony Armstrong is an experienced editor and writer currently serving as the Lead Assigning Editor for NerdWallet since May 2014, where leadership is provided to the consumer banking content pod. Previously, Tony held roles at NerdWallet as an Assistant Assigning Editor and Staff Writer, focusing on content strategy and personal finance articles. Prior experience includes working as an Admissions Interviewer and Application Reader at Macalester College, an Editorial Intern at Milkweed Editions, and a Fellow at the University of Minnesota, where English language and American history classes were taught. Tony holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature and Creative Writing from Macalester College, earned between 2009 and 2013.
