Alexandra Gilbert

Alexandra Gilbert currently serves as the Head of New Ventures at Nesta, a position held since January 2022. Prior to this role, Alexandra was the Operations and Community Director at ICE List from February 2020 to January 2022. Alexandra has also contributed to Wayra UK as a Senior Relationship Manager for the NCSC Cyber Accelerator and Head of Acceleration from March 2019 to February 2021. Previous experience includes serving as Chief Operating Officer at L Marks, managing corporate accelerator programs, and positions at Echo Ventures CIC, School for Startups, NACUE, Teach a Man to Fish, and the British Red Cross. Alexandra holds a Master of Laws in Human Rights Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Politics and International Relations from the University of Nottingham.
