Steve W. has extensive experience in various leadership roles across technology and operations sectors. Currently serving at NetApp since November 2024, Steve previously held the position of Chief Operating Officer at Within Inc. from January 2022 to October 2024. Between November 2020 and August 2024, Steve worked as a consultant for Digital Strategy and Operations at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, where a notable project involved digital modeling of economic risk using the HoloLens platform. As CEO of Hoversurf from March 2019 to November 2021, Steve led the company in the development of the first FAA-approved electric flying hoverbike, facilitating sales to law enforcement in Europe and the Middle East. Earlier roles include Chief of Staff at Flex and Senior Director of IT Finance and Programs at Symantec. Steve's military background as a Major in the United States Air Force and education credentials include a Bachelor's degree in Physics and Applied Mathematics and two master's degrees from the University of Southern California and Columbia University.
