Krystal Denley Bowen

Krystal Denley Bowen is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in privacy, data security, and intellectual property law. Currently serving as the Chief Privacy Officer and VP of Data Privacy & Security at Netflix since November 2024, Bowen has previously held the position of Chief Privacy Officer at Block from January 2022 to October 2024. Prior roles include Deputy General Counsel at Zynga, Partner at Sheppard Mullin Richter & Hampton LLP, and Partner at Bingham McCutchen LLP. Bowen began a legal career as an Assistant United States Attorney in both the Northern and Central Districts of California and worked as an Associate at McCutchen, Doyle, Brown & Enersen. Bowen holds a Juris Doctor from the University of California, Berkeley - School of Law, and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Hofstra University.
