Laurie Batista

Laurie Batista is a seasoned talent acquisition professional with extensive experience in the creative and marketing sectors. Currently serving as the Manager of Talent Acquisition for Creative, Marketing, PR & Comms at Netflix since September 2021, Laurie leads a team focused on building a diverse talent pool in various creative disciplines. As Co-Founder and President of WE IDENTIFY, a not-for-profit organization established in July 2020, Laurie champions the representation and advancement of underrepresented talent within the creative industries. Previous roles include Talent + Inclusion Director at Wieden + Kennedy and Talent Lead at co: collective, among others, resulting in a well-rounded background in recruiting and culture development. Laurie's educational credentials include a degree in Marketing & Advertising from the Fashion Institute of Technology and studies at Boston University.
