Yifat Dzigan

Yifat Dzigan is a seasoned professional in the fields of geophysics, planetary sciences, and astrophysics, currently serving as Section Head, Coordinator, and Research Engineer at the Netherlands eScience Center since July 2017. Previous experience includes a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Amsterdam and the Weizmann Institute of Science, where Yifat conducted significant research in astrophysics, including an extensive all-sky survey and the analysis of large-scale unstructured data. Yifat's academic foundation includes a PhD in Geophysics and Planetary Sciences and an MSc in Astronomy and Astrophysics from Tel Aviv University, along with a BSc in Physics from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev. Additionally, Yifat contributed as a math teaching assistant at IDC Herzliya, supporting students and faculty in the business school.
