Tom Bresser

Tom Bresser is a PhD student at the Nederlands Herseninstituut, specializing in neuroimaging to investigate the mechanisms underlying insomnia. As a member of the Young Scientists Committee at the Dutch Society for Sleep-Wake Research (NSWO) since November 2019, Tom actively contributes to the field. Previous experience includes a University Research Fellowship at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, a master research internship focused on brain connectivity related to insomnia at the van Someren lab, and a master thesis on neurorehabilitation outcomes at Nutricia Research. Tom earned a Master of Science in Neuroscience and Cognition and a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences from Utrecht University.
