Jonathan Robinson

Jonathan Robinson is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in leadership and consultancy within the technology and life sciences sectors. Currently serving as a Non Executive Director at NetScientific PLC since December 2022, Jonathan also holds the position of Director at Internet Computer Bureau Limited since April 2017. Previously, Jonathan was the Managing Director at Ipracon Ltd from February 2011 to February 2021, offering strategic consultancy services, and served as Chairman at Afilias from September 2003 to December 2020, where the organization became a global leader in advanced registry services. As well, Jonathan has held significant roles including Chair of the GNSO Council at ICANN from October 2012 to October 2015 and Non-Executive Director at Nominet UK from June 2009 to May 2011. Jonathan's career also encompasses a position as Chief Operating Officer at Group NBT plc from May 1997 to June 2009. Jonathan holds a PhD in Materials Engineering and a BSc in Physics from the University of Cape Town.
