Phil Ferraro

Phil is an advisor to C-Suite executives including board-level officers on risk methods and approaches to measuring effectiveness, speaking to enterprise-wide security technologies as well as multiple regulatory standards. Phil served as the Vice President and Global Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) for the Las Vegas Sands Corp (LVS) where he was responsible for all aspects of the global Cyber Security program including strategic planning, global cyber operations, threat intelligence, security architecture, and engineering, as well as PCI, SOX and gaming compliance.

Earlier in his career, Phil served the US Federal government for 30 years including positions as the CISO for the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), and similar roles with the Department of Defense for the United States Army, Europe, and the United States Southern Command in Miami, Florida. In these roles, he was instrumental in revitalizing the cyber security programs and significantly increased the overall security posture, and became a subject matter expert in cyber espionage and battling advanced persistent threats.
