David West Smith

David West Smith has a long history of work experience in the finance and technology sectors. From 1998 to 2002, they were a Director at Deutsche Bank Asset Management, where they reported to Michael Phillip and managed investments. From 2002 to 2008, they worked as the Founder of Global Emerging Finance and Technology, and from 2008 to 2009 they were the Director of Americas Advisor Business Strategy at Rapid Addition Limited. In 2009, they became an Advisor at Exigen Capital Management, LLC, and in 2018 they joined FLATLAY as a Board Member. In 2019, they became the Director at Conexus, and in 2021 they were appointed as a Director at Neu.ro. Most recently, in 2022, they joined ET Solutions GmbH as a Services and Solutions Executive.

David West Smith completed their MBA in Finance and International Business from the University of Miami Herbert Business School in 1991. From 1984 to 1988, they obtained a BA in Social Anthropology from Eckerd College. In 1986 and 1987, they attended Paris Lodron Universität Salzburg for Bachelors Studies in Economics and EU Law. Additionally, they have experience in Social Anthropology and Spanish Studies from Universidad de Granada.
