Joshua Hess

Joshua Hess is an experienced engineering professional with a strong background in implant technology and product development. Currently serving as an Implant Engineer at Neuralink since October 2019, Joshua focuses on developing ultra high bandwidth brain-machine interfaces. Previously, Joshua founded and served as Chief Engineer at Serpent Boards Inc. from December 2016 to October 2019, overseeing all aspects of product design and manufacturing. Additionally, Joshua contributed to the innovation ecosystem at the University of Central Florida from August 2015 to October 2019 as an Innovation Lab Engineer Tech, supporting students and entrepreneurs with project development. Joshua also held the position of CTO and Lead Designer at Radical Engineering, LLC, from September 2016 to January 2018, managing technical operations for the startup. Joshua completed a degree at the University of Central Florida between 2015 and 2018.
