Maryam Abdullah

Maryam Abdullah is an experienced educator with a strong background in curriculum development and academic leadership. Currently serving as the Curriculum Head at New Academy School since September 2019, Maryam oversees curriculum adaptation and modification while also leading the English Department for grades 1 to 12. As Director of Academics and Training at Tesselate since July 2020, responsibilities include academic program development. Previous roles include Upper Elementary and Middle School Academic Vice Principal at Next Generation School, where Maryam significantly contributed to operations, curriculum design, and staff training in personalized and project-based learning. Maryam's extensive experience also encompasses teaching positions at International School of Creative Science and instructional roles at George Mason University and the University of Sharjah. Educational qualifications include a Master's of Education in Curriculum and Instruction and additional training certifications in professional development and ESL instruction.
