D J Pandian

D J Pandian is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in infrastructure and energy management. Currently serving as the Director General of the Indian Regional Office of the New Development Bank since June 2022, D J Pandian previously held the position of Vice President and Chief Investment Officer at the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank from March 2016 to March 2022. Notably, D J Pandian played a pivotal role in establishing Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University and served as Chief Secretary for the Government of Gujarat, where significant advancements in infrastructure and energy sectors were achieved. D J Pandian has also held senior roles in various organizations, including Managing Director at Gujarat State Petroleum Corporation Ltd, Advisor at the World Bank Group, and Director in the Indian Ministry of Finance, and possesses a PhD in Business Administration from Nirma University.
