Lourival Rangel de Mattos

Lourival Rangel de Mattos is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in auditing, risk management, and project management within the banking sector. Currently serving as Director General at New Development Bank since October 2022, Lourival previously held the position of Country Head of Internal Audit at HSBC Investment Bank from June 2019 to September 2022. Lourival's prior roles include Chief Internal Auditor at Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation and Senior Audit Manager at HSBC Bank Brasil, where responsibilities encompassed auditing compliance, operational risk, and managing audit plans in Brazil and Latin America.
