Marcos Igreja is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in technological innovation, bioeconomy, and sustainability reporting. Currently serving as an Advisor to the President at the New Development Bank since March 2024, Igreja also co-founded a Stealth Startup and is a board member and Innovative Technology Scale-up Advisor at Cycle Momentum as of October 2023. Previous roles include mentoring at District 3 Innovation, co-founding and directing multiple programs at Genecis Bioindustries Inc. from May 2017 to May 2023, and founding Green Living - Urban Agriculture Start-up. Educationally, Igreja holds a Bachelor of Engineering from McGill University, a Professional Certificate in Biotechnology & Data Analytics from MIT, and is pursuing a Master's in Finance at Harvard Extension School.
