Vladimir Potapov

Vladimir Potapov is an experienced research scientist with a focus on machine learning, protein generative AI models, and enzyme engineering, currently serving as Research Scientist II at New England Biolabs since January 2014. Previous roles include Research Scientist I at the same company, where contributions involved developing computational approaches for enzyme engineering, as well as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, specializing in predictive models of protein-protein interactions. Earlier experience includes a Postdoctoral Fellow position at the Weizmann Institute of Science, focusing on protein structure prediction, and a Ph.D. in Life Sciences (Bioinformatics) from the Weizmann Institute.
