Tammy Schuk

Tammy Schuk has extensive experience in laboratory and safety roles, currently serving as a Shift Assayer and Safety Advisor at New Gold Inc. since November 2016, where responsibilities include sample preparation, fire assay techniques, and laboratory analysis. Prior to that, Tammy worked as a Sample Weigh Technician/Wet Lab Technician at Actlabs, managing geological sample cataloging and updating logs using LIMS. From May 2014 to September 2016, Tammy served as a Medic for Kendra's First Aid, ensuring safety for firefighting crews. Tammy holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Biology from Thompson Rivers University, where studies were completed from 2012 to 2016. Earlier work experience includes roles as a Screening Officer at Garda and as an Office Assistant/Baggage Handler at Sharp Wings Ltd.
