Bruce Kemp joins the New Hanover County Board of Elections with decades of IT experience ranging from computer programmer/analyst to manager and consultant with a retailer, Price Waterhouse and Reynolds Metals. This experience, alongside his Mathematics degree from Davidson College and MBA from the College of William and Mary, has prepared him to serve well on multiple boards. Having previously served as an Election Chief/ Assistant Chief (Judge) from 2009 to 2019 in Fairfax County Virginia, Bruce co-authored an inside poll-watcher guide used by multiple jurisdictions. Bruce served years as a legislative aide for a Virginia state senator, and as a General Assembly lobbyist, and he and his wife Jody have been involved in state and local campaigns.
