Elizabeth Garcia

Liz Garcia is former manager of public affairs at Infineum USA L.P. The company manufactures and markets petroleum additives, including those used in automotive, heavy-duty diesel and marine engine oils, diesel fuels, and specialty applications such as transmission fluids and industrial oils. She also served as manager of public affairs and risk management advisor for Exxon Chemical Company. Ms. Garcia previously served as chair of the Board of Governors for Union County College. She received her M.S. degree in Chemical Engineering from NJIT in 1973. She is a member of the Advisory Board for the Otto H. York Department of Chemical and Materials Engineering at NJIT. She received the Newark College of Engineering Distinguished Alumnus/a Award in 2002 and the Alumni Achievement Award in 1996.
