Javana McPherson Asp

Javana McPherson, MS, CSP, ASP, CHST, CSFSM, is an accomplished safety professional with extensive experience in construction safety and environmental health. Currently serving as the Senior Director of Construction Safety at NJ TRANSIT since November 2021, Javana previously held the position of Senior Safety Coordinator at The Port Authority of New York & New Jersey from November 2013 to November 2021. Javana's career also includes roles as a Safety Officer/Industrial Hygienist at the New York City Department of Environmental Protection and EHS Manager at the New Jersey Institute of Technology. Javana holds a Master’s degree in Occupational Safety and Health Engineering from the New Jersey Institute of Technology, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Public Health from William Paterson University of New Jersey.
