Mark Crawford

Mark Crawford is an accomplished professional in environmental health and safety with extensive experience across multiple industries. Currently serving as the Director of Safety Training & Development at NJ TRANSIT since August 2023, Mark previously held the position of Americas Health & Safety Lead at Barclays from April 2018 to April 2023, overseeing health and safety for all locations in North and South America. Prior roles include Environmental Health & Safety Manager at West-Ward Pharmaceuticals, Safety Manager at Oxford Instruments, and EHS Site Lead at Arde Inc., along with key managerial positions in EHS auditing at Gentek Corporation and Sequa Corporation. Mark holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from Rutgers University, earned between 1984 and 1989.
