Janeen Vilven-Doggett practices in the areas of litigation and transactional matters. She is a member of the New Mexico bar and a registered patent attorney. Vilven-Doggett received her B.A. in Biology from Baylor University in 1986 and her Ph.D. in Biomedical Sciences from the University of New Mexico in 1997. She received her J.D. (cum laude) from the University of New Mexico School of Law in 2001. Vilven-Doggett has experience both as an attorney and as a research scientist. She is a well-known and experienced intellectual property practioner and has been so recognized in Best Lawyers in America. Prior to becoming an attorney, she spent about 13 years as a research scientist at both Baylor College of Medicine (Department of Molecular Physiology and Biophysics), and the University of New Mexico Health Sciences Center (Department of Pediatrics and Department of Pathology).
