Scott Folkman

Scott Folkman is an accomplished professional in the field of chemistry, currently serving as an Assistant Professor at New Mexico State University since August 2023. Prior to this role, Scott held postdoctoral researcher positions at ICIQ from October 2019 to July 2023 and Colorado State University from January 2019 to October 2019, focusing on photoelectrochemical catalysis. Scott's academic foundation includes a Ph.D. in Materials Chemistry from Colorado State University, completed in 2018, and a Bachelor of Science in ACS Chemistry with a biochemistry emphasis from Northern Arizona University in 2013. Additional experience includes working as an undergraduate researcher in organometallic synthesis at NAU Hurst Research Group and serving as a teaching assistant at Northern Arizona University, where responsibilities included managing undergraduate laboratories and lecturing on chemistry techniques and safety.
