Alexandra Escobar

Alexandra Escobar currently serves as a Campaign Advisor for New Politics, providing strategic guidance to Democratic candidates on fundraising, organizing, communications, and paid media. Previous experience includes roles as Lead Event Manager for PD Special Events, managing large-scale high school events in the Los Angeles area, and serving as a candidate for Mayor of Long Beach. Alexandra also worked at Democracy Fund as a People Team Associate, enhancing onboarding processes and leading a successful workplace survey initiative. Additional contributions include being a Better Arguments Ambassador with The Aspen Institute, Board Secretary for the Historical Society of Long Beach, and serving as a board member for Hostelling International USA. Prior experience includes program instruction with the Close Up Foundation and support for Congressional relations during a tenure with the Peace Corps. Alexandra holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Entrepreneurship from Loyola Marymount University and has completed coursework at Harvard Kennedy School.
