Esteban Gutierrez

Esteban Gutierrez is an accomplished information security professional with extensive experience in reshaping the security landscape to enhance nurturance, transparency, and safe engagement for individuals and organizations. Currently serving as CISO & VP of Information Security at New Relic, Inc. since February 2016, Esteban has successfully built and matured security teams while addressing complex challenges. Prior roles at Intel Corporation included defining corporate information security strategies and directing cloud security initiatives. Esteban's career also encompasses key positions at ICRC Solutions, n-Link, Webvan, Northwest Software Inc., and General Atomics/CERFnet, where responsibilities ranged from managing global network security infrastructures to developing comprehensive security frameworks. Esteban holds a BA in Interdisciplinary studies (Linguistics & Psychology) from Reed College and has furthered education at Portland State University.
