Kelly Berenfeld currently serves as a Leadership Coordinator at New York Cares and as a Program Supervisor at The Samaritans of New York, where additional responsibilities include volunteering as a Crisis Hotline Volunteer. Kelly also instructs Adult and Infant CPR/AED/First Aid for the American Red Cross and previously coordinated Opioid Overdose Prevention outreach and served as a Prevention and Wellness Educator at Educational Alliance. Additional experience includes a role as Research Staff at Columbia University Department of Psychiatry and New York State Psychiatric Institute, Production Set Medic at Valhalla Medics, Emergency Room Technician Intern at Appalachian Regional Healthcare System, Ski Patroller at Sugar Mountain Resort, and Emergency Medical Technician at Caldwell County EMS. Kelly holds a Bachelor of Science in Sociology of Health and Aging from Appalachian State University and is currently pursuing a Master of Public Administration at Baruch College.
