Parisa Harati

Parisa Harati, P.E. is a skilled Structural Design Engineer currently employed at the NYC School Construction Authority since August 2017. Previous experience includes serving as a Senior Structural Engineer at WSP USA from August 2012 to August 2017, and as a Project Engineer at Wexler Associates between January 2011 and November 2012. Parisa's extensive expertise encompasses the structural design of high-rise and mid-rise buildings, with a focus on residential, retail, hotel, and mixed-use projects utilizing various materials such as concrete, steel, and masonry. Additionally, Parisa has conducted lateral forces analysis and designed lateral resisting systems. Prior to these roles, Parisa worked as a Senior Project Engineer at Structural Design Plus, Inc., specializing in wood and steel framed residential and commercial buildings, as well as various structural components. Parisa holds a Master’s degree in Structural Engineering from California State University, Los Angeles, and a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Applied Science and Technology in Tehran, Iran.
