Mark Taylor

Mark Taylor is a seasoned professional in meteorology and energy analysis with extensive experience since 2001. Currently serving as a Senior Analyst/Meteorologist at NYISO since March 2014, Mark specializes in demand forecasting and analysis, managing statistical models to predict energy load based on weather attributes. Mark also held a position as Senior Analyst in Mitigation Performance and Analysis at NYISO. Previously, Mark worked as a Senior Wind Resource Meteorologist with BP Wind Energy and as Lead Meteorologist at AWS Truepower, where expertise in wind resource assessment and energy production analysis was developed. Mark co-founded the Capital District Youth Scholarship Tour in 2010, providing youth bowlers with competitive opportunities and scholarships. Mark holds a Master of Science in Meteorology from Penn State University and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Sacred Heart University.
