Amin Milani Fard

Amin Milani Fard is an experienced academic and technology advisor with a diverse background in higher education and software engineering. Currently serving as an Associate Professor and Program Coordinator at the New York Institute of Technology since January 2018, Amin has previously held positions such as Assistant Professor and Adjunct Professor. Additionally, visiting faculty at Simon Fraser University since May 2017, Amin has contributed to several companies, including serving as a Technical Advisor for Shoptaki and co-founding InformedIn Inc. and AnalyticsBuffet Inc. Amin’s early career includes roles as a Postdoctoral Researcher, Technical Writer, and Instructor at various institutions. Amin holds a PhD in Computer Software Engineering from The University of British Columbia, a MSc in Computer Science from Simon Fraser University, and a BSc in Computer Software Engineering from Ferdowsi University of Mashhad.
