Jole Fiorito

Jole Fiorito is an Assistant Professor at the New York Institute of Technology since September 2017 and has held various positions at Columbia University Medical Center since May 2010, including Adjunct Associate Research Scientist and Associate Research Scientist focused on Alzheimer's disease and aging. With a Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of Catania, obtained between 2006 and 2010, Jole Fiorito has specialized in the design and synthesis of sigma ligands and HDAC inhibitors for anti-tumor therapy. Educational background includes a Master’s Degree in Medicinal and Pharmaceutical Chemistry from Università di Catania and a High School diploma from Liceo Scientifico.
