Anurag Jain

Anurag Jain is a seasoned data science professional with extensive experience in the financial services industry. Currently serving as Corporate Vice President of Data Science at New York Life Insurance Company since April 2020, Anurag specializes in developing marketing and agency models for the retail life insurance business, focusing on improving agent performance and mitigating fraud. Prior to this role, Anurag spent over 13 years at American Express as a Senior Data Scientist and Senior Manager in Artificial Intelligence Labs, where key projects included the design of NLP systems for automated financial statement analysis, development of various machine learning solutions for marketing and fraud mitigation, and creation of the first-generation CCAR model for corporate portfolios. Anurag holds a Bachelor and Master of Technology in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, and an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta.
