Ximena Smith

Ximena Smith is a marketing communications advisor at New Zealand Blood Service since September 2024 and a freelance contributor for various media outlets, including RNZ and Stuff, since September 2017. Ximena's previous roles include communications lead at Brainbox, journalist on the Te Ao with Moana television program, and investigative journalist for the series 'A Question of Justice'. Ximena has served as a digital communications officer for Help Musicians UK, producer for RNZ's Morning Report, and news and editorial director at 95bFM Campus Radio. Ximena holds a Master's Degree in Communication Studies and has completed multiple levels of Te Reo Māori education.
