Kevin Burnett

Kevin Burnett has extensive experience in diplomatic and management roles, currently serving as Ambassador to Indonesia with the New Zealand Ministry of Foreign Affairs & Trade. Previously, Kevin held positions such as Consul-General in Honolulu and Ambassador to Palau, FSM, and RMI. Kevin's background includes serving as Principal Adviser to the Chief Executive at the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet, as well as various directorial roles within the New Zealand Ministry of Justice. In the New Zealand Ministry of Defence, Kevin served as Principal Adviser in the Policy and Planning Division and held leadership positions such as Commandant at the Defence College and Defence Attaché in Bangkok. Kevin's academic qualifications include a Master of Management and a Master of Philosophy in Defence & Strategic Studies from Massey University.
